What we collect, and what we do with it

This is the privacy notice for soaringturtle.com. It says what we keep when you add a job, what is public, and what we do with it.

When you add a job

We keep the town or village you chose, the trade, the few words you typed, the time, how you arrived at the site, and the code on any link you were sent. If you give an email, we keep that too, with a note that you agreed to be emailed when a day is booking near you.

What is public

The map shows villages as dots, with how many jobs each has. The table shows the county, the trade, the time, how the job arrived and its distance from the first village. The job you typed, your address and your email never appear anywhere public and are never passed to anyone.

Emails

Only to tell you when a day is booking near you, and to send the notes if you asked for them. Every email has a one-click way to leave. We never share or sell addresses.

Keeping it

Enquiries are kept until the village has had its day or for two years, whichever comes first, then deleted. Write to hello@soaringturtle.com to see or remove yours.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no cookies and uses no tracking scripts. Any analytics we add later will be cookieless, so no banner.
